Date stamped: AP3(?)0 05. Dr Lloyd Davies had given Irving a strychnine injection in Wolverhampton so that he could give his last two scheduled performances. After recuperating in Torquay and Tintagel Irving returned to London to play at Drury Lane Theatre, beginnining with 'Becket' on 29th April 1905. Bram Stoker sent a telegram from Bradford on 14/10/05 notifying Lloyd-Davies of Irving's death. |
